Our Story

Officially launching SIREP: Social Impact Real Estate Projects as a vehicle to a vision I’ve nursed for most of my adult life. Sacred to start, didn’t know how, distracted by securing the bag—yup, I’ve experienced it all. But by officially pushing this out, SIREP takes on a life of its own.
A Bit About Me
It pains me to see people sitting on the steps or floor at the Murtala Muhammed train station in Ebute Metta, Lagos, especially when the facility boasts a minimum of a 200-seater waiting room. I see abandoned warehouses growing in age but not in value at Ikeja; swamps of people coiled up in corners, sleeping at the feet of Ojodu Berger and Oyinbo, and not been able to do anything about it. As an architect, and as a human, it’s discouraging.
Today marks the beginning of what I know on the inside is set to be an incredible journey—one driven by a shared vision to restore dignity, foster unity, and create vibrant communities through the transformation of neglected spaces.

Now about SIREP
At SIREP, we believe every abandoned building, unused space, or neglected property holds the potential to become a beacon of hope. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to breathe life into forgotten spaces, turning them into safe, welcoming environments where people can refresh, work, and connect.
We’re not just about fixing buildings; we’re about restoring dignity and life. By partnering with communities, organizations, and individuals, we’re creating lasting impact for many—one project at a time.

2️⃣“The measure of a society is found in how they treat their weakest and most helpless citizens.” — Jimmy Carter
What We Do
Our work begins where others see dead ends and roadblocks. Whether it’s an empty warehouse, an unused office space, or a dilapidated structure, we step in to:
- Transform these spaces into shelters, community centers, libraries, or cafes.
- Promote Life & Sustainability: Implement Godly and eco-friendly practices to ensure long-term impact.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders; beneficiaries, volunteers, donors in shaping and sustaining these projects.
Through unconventional concepts, sustainable processes and practices, we ensure every project is not just impactful but also built to last.
